Subtitle Cinema is a free cinema club screening foreign films in their original language with subtitles
Started by Julie Joubert & Scarlett Malone in 2025, Subtitle Cinema is an homage to the cinemas we grew up attended in small town France, where there is an appreciation for foreign & independant cinema.
We wanted to bring this love of the silver screen to London with films old & new, big budget & totally independant. Anything & everything as long as it makes you feel something & comes with subtitles.
We host a monthly in person film club in Dalston, usually a double bill which has some connecting thread, see our past screenings below
