About me

Hi! I’m Scarlett Malone, an actor, director and facilitator working in London, Bristol.

Acting

I’ve worked with Shakespeare’s Globe (Alternative Miss World), Almeida Theatre (24 day: The Measure of my Dreams), Universal Music (L Divine’s Peachy Keen music video), Arcola Theatre (Once it’s Over the Audience Will Cheer) and I am a member of the National Youth Theatre. For more information, you can check out my acting portfolio page. I’m just starting my career and currently do not have an agent, so if you’re an agent, please go directly to the contact me page.

Facilitating

I set up and now facilitate a weekly performing arts group called Culford Collective. A space for performers who are just starting out (like me!) to connect, collaborate and share their work. If you’d like to know more follow the link to our website on the Culford Co page.

Directing

I am one of the founders & directors of Culford Company. A woman led theatre company committed to telling contemporary stories and providing an open and collaborative space for emerging artists. We are currently working on our first play Eggshells which explores the ripple effect of a couple’s decision not to have children because of the climate crisis has on their family. For more info see my page about Culford Co.

Other work

In my spare time I sometimes make costumes, I’ve performed at the Globe Theatre in several of the costumes I’ve made. Writing is my new hobby, I’ve been working on sonnets, poems and short stories for children. Please see my ‘Other Work’ section for my random scribblings and some costume making!

Languages

I speak fluent English & French, I also speak some Spanish, with a bit of a french accent. I grew up travelling between London, Barcelona, Cotignac (a magical little village in the south of France) and India. I now live full time in London, but still enjoy travelling. I’m currently planning a trip to Bhutan for when Covid is finally over!
